Anthony Yacullo / Deejay personality

Anthony Yacullo shows

Growing up in Bloomfield, New Jersey –  alongside racetracks, shopping malls, and the shore – Anthony knew the songs of Springsteen and Sinatra, enjoyed Sunday gravy and meatballs, and kept fit through wiffleball and South End skirmishes.  One Sunday night, his FM radio dialed into Vin Scelsa’s Idiot’s Delight and that lightning bolt of free-form magic exploded into his mind, irreparably.

Now further down the dusty road, Anthony teaches law and ethics at Centenary University.  Beyond professing, he hikes with his son, roots for the Baltimore Orioles, watches the trees for birds, and scans the skies for stars and nebula.  Sanity generally is maintained through chopping wood.  Sanguine afternoons are passed with his dog Bacon.  He also reads….and reads some more….searching for glimmers of eternal truth, Cape May Diamonds, scattered and shining, in the worn out, dog-eared pages of time.  One constant:  no matter where on the timeline, SONG – homo sapiens first language – has served him faithfully, a guiding, soothing, tempting, riling companion along the way.
