Written by on December 4, 2017

The only constant in education is change. In an increasingly technologically driven and complex world, our children need to be prepared for that constant change. Employers look for a employees with soft skills such as communication, curiosity, responsibility and innovation. Schools face the challenge of how to teach students the skills they need to be competent citizens of our global community. How do leaders encourage students and teachers to be modern learners? To connect to the larger community? To learn how to learn and to think critically and deeply about issues, amidst the current trends of accountability measures and state/federal mandates? Join doctoral students Rebecca Lucas and January Gandley, along with special guest William Thompson, Principal of Hackettstown Middle School as they discuss their solutions with hosts Fran Gavin and Tim Frederiks.
