Join Hosts Fran Gavin and Tim Frederiks as they welcome Sparta School District administrators into the studio to discuss the Challenges of Teaching 21st Century skills in our schools. Guests include doctoral student Marisa Wilson: Supervisor of Science and STEM. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience from Montclair State University, a Master in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove University, and a Master in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. Joining Marissa is Tara Rossi: K-5 Supervisor of English Language Arts/Literacy. Mrs. Rossi earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, where she has acquired certifications in Elementary Education and Teacher of the Handicap. In addition, she holds a Master of Arts in Education from Marygrove College, a Supervisor certification through Centenary University, and is a certified Dyslexia Practitioner recognized by the International Dyslexia Association. Also participating is Scott Kercher: Supervisor of Social Studies, World Languages & ESL. He graduated from The College of New Jersey in 1997 with a BA in History/Secondary Education. He then graduated from Rider University in 2006 with a Master’s in Educational Leadership.
Rounding out the line up is Dr. Adrienne Castorina: Supervisor of Special Services. Dr. Castorina holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, and a Master’s of Social Work degree from New York University, and she recently received her doctorate degree from Centenary University.
